SLCCE connects university students with under-resourced high school communities across North Carolina, delivering hands-on workshops in electrical engineering, computer engineering, and computer science.
SLCCE Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) organization that provides electrical and computer engineering and computer science education to under-resourced high school students across North Carolina.
We also provide professional development and entrepreneurial opportunities for current university students, ensuring that individuals from various backgrounds are supported throughout their schooling.
Our model connects both communities. University students develop workshops that are taught to under-resourced high school students, allowing university students to develop their professional portfolios, and high school students to receive mentorship and hands-on computing education that may otherwise remain inaccessible.
University students develop and teach computing workshops to high school students, covering circuit design to software development.
Bridging the gap between university and high school communities with lasting mentorship and support networks.
Volunteers develop leadership, teaching, and technical skills while building professional portfolios.
Every workshop brings computing education to students who need it most.
